One person sells many copies, each month, of CDs of Victorian knitting, crochet and craftwork patterns, which she first found on eBay! The first thing I noticed when I opened up the first video was the stunning production quality.
He used Camtasia Studio for the production, which is now the industry standard for creating high-quality screen capture video products. The audio is near studio quality, and the graphics are very professional. These videos were made by someone who KNOWS what he's doing. Well done!

I also liked how Michael divided the videos up by section, and then again by sub-section. For example, one video is all about the subject line, and then there are different parts of that video that each cover a certain area of crafting a killer subject line.

VIDEO 1 - INTRODUCTION

This video served as an introduction to the whole course. You get to see a picture of Michael in his every day life, and he establishes his credibility right up front by talking about some of his massive successes online. He even provides proof of credibility by displaying two checks in the amount of $50,000 and $25,000 which prove that, when it comes to the subject of making money with email promos, he knows his stuff.

This is a good lesson for anyone to get. Whenever you're teaching people how to do something, it's good to establish your credibility up front, so that there's no doubt about whether or not you're qualified to talk about the subject. Most product developers either skip or minimize this step.

VIDEO 2 - BEFORE YOU WRITE THE PROMO

This video talks about some things that no other marketer has bothered to mention.
You'll learn things like:

* The mindset you need in order to write a killer promo

* The different tools you need before you get started

* How to keep your emails laser-focused

* How to create an outline that practically writes the email for you.

This was a fantastic video, and did a good job of kicking things off.

VIDEO 3 - THE SUBJECT LINE

I liked this video, because it talked about one of MY biggest weaknesses when it comes to writing email promos... the subject line. The subject line is a confusing topic, because nobody's 100% sure what the best tactics are.

Michael breaks it down, and reveals:

* The biggest secret for writing a subject line that makes people insanely curious.

* Techniques for personalizing the subject line.

* Mistakes to avoid when using personalization.

I was surprised to find that I was making some of the mistakes that Michael mentioned in this video, but now I know better.

VIDEO 4 - THE OPENING

This is where a lot of people slack off when writing their emails. Michael talks about how important it is to create an opening that is conversational, and then reveals techniques and examples on how to do that.

He also reveals:

* How to get people to keep reading your email once they've opened it.

* How to make your opening interesting.

* Mistakes to avoid when creating your first few paragraphs.

VIDEO 5 - THE BODY COPY

This is one of the "meatiest" portions of the course, because it reveals techniques that are not widely discussed on the forums, blogs, and in most eBooks. He talks about the importance of keeping your body copy tight and relevant, and then reveals how you can do that.
You'll also learn:

* How to write powerful bullets that make people curious and want to find out more.

* Simple formatting tricks for making your body copy easy to read.

* The secret of "bucket brigade copy" and how to use it in your email promos to force people to keep reading.

VIDEO 6 - THE CALL TO ACTION

This is where a lot of people wimp out in their email promos. They start out strong, but when it comes time to ask the reader to click the link and take action, they don't know what to say.

VIDEO 8 - COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE

I loved this video, because it showed me some mistakes that I was making that I wasn't even aware of. Unless you're a seasoned pro, you're probably guilty of some of the things that Michael talks about in this video as well, and that's why it's so valuable. I've shaved years off my learning curve, because now I can avoid some of the costly mistakes that I was bound to make in the learning process.

VIDEO 9 - HOW TO CREATE FOLLOW-UP EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This video alone is going to make me a lot of money. Why? Because I used to only send out one email promo for each affiliate promotion I was doing. Michael showed me in this video how important it is to send a follow-up promotion, and he showed me exactly how to do it.
He covered things like:

* The psychology of follow-up email promo's.

* The 2 main types of follow-up promos that make the most money.

* How to overcome readers' objections in your follow up emails.

* The 2 most common mistakes people make when writing follow-ups and how to avoid them.

How to Sell your Back-End Products

What is a Back-end product?
A back-end product is a product you attempt to sell to your customers after they have recently purchased a related product from your business.

If you're not trying to sell back-end products to your customers, you're making a huge mistake. It is much easier to sell to your existing customers than it is to find and sell to new ones who don't trust your business yet.

Below are ten ProfitNowOnline strategies you can use to sell your back-end products to your existing customers:

1. When you ship people the first product they buy, insert a flyer or brochure for your back-end product in the package.


2. Give customers a free subscription to a customers only e-zine when they buy your product. You could include your ad for your back-end product in each issue.


3. Send your customers greeting cards on holidays or on their birthday. Include a small advertisement inside the card for your back-end product.

8. Ask people you meet online to review your web site. You can use their comments to improve your web site or you may turn the viewer into a customer or regular reader of your newsletters.

9. You may think this is a tough one, but in order to become efficient, you should out-source part of your workload. You'll save on your man hours as well as costs incurred if you should hire an employee. You could out-source your secretarial work, accounting, marketing, etc.

10. Look at combining a product and a service together in a package deal. It could potentially increase your sales. If you're selling an e-book, offer an hour of consulting with it. Make sure your ebook is branded as well and you can also look into offering affiliate commisions.

Looking to Build an Email List? Try these Strategies

List Building Strategies

1. Trade links with other web sites. They should be related to the subject of your web site. Instead of trading links, you could also trade banner ads, half page ads, classified ads, etc. Find websites that are similar to yours, but not the competition. Email them and ask if they are interested in such a trade.


2. Start an e-zine for your web site. When people read each issue they'll be reminded to visit your web site every time you send out your ezine. They'll see your product ad more than just once which will increase your orders.(it is a fact that the human mind needs exposure 7x for something to sink in; repetition is the key) Give them great content,lots of info and freebies, so that people will be likely to stick around because of what you are teaching.


3. Form or Join an online community. It could be an online message board, e-mail discussion list or chat room. When people get involved in your community they will regularly return to communicate with others. A word of warning though, make sure you are writing good pertinent content or you could get the owners/moderators angry with you and get yourself banned.


4. Write articles and submit them to e-zines, web sites and magazines that accept article submissions. Include your business information and web address at the end of the article. If you copy content from internet sources, be sure to credit the original poster so that the search engines don’t think you have plagiarized.


5. Give away an electronic freebie with your ad or re-branded information on it. Allow your visitors to also give the freebie away, keeping your information also intact. This'll increase your ad exposure and attract people to your web site at the same time.


6. Combine your products or services into one big package deal with other businesses offerings. You could share a web site and advertise the package deal which means double the traffic.


7. Submit your freebie to the online directories that list your particular item or service for free. If you're offering a free e-zine, submit it to all the free e-zine
directories on the internet.


8. Participate on message boards. Post answers to other people's questions, ask questions and post appropriate information. Include your signature file at the end of all your postings. Again, make sure your postings are relevant and you don’t upset the moderators.


9. Exchange classified or sponsor ads with other free e-zine publishers. If there is a huge subscriber difference between e-zines, one can run more ads to make up for it.


10. Post your ad on free advertising areas on the internet. You can post it on free classified ad sites, free for all links sites, newsgroups that allow ads, free yellow page directories, etc. Warning about FFA though, you will get a huge amount of email from this and we suggest you get yourself an email account on another server (gmail is good if you have someone who can refer you) that you can ignore if you need to. These can become very distracting and you could end up off track by reading them all. We know, we’ve been there!

Is it Easy to make money online?

Did someone tell you it was easy to make money online? Well, they lied. It is really hard, and only about 5% of the marketers online are actually making the big bucks and able to Profit Now Online.

Duane Forrest has been working online for almost 10 years and has been very successful. So successful he was able to take a break for a while and then get started again. This is where we were a year ago, just getting started again.
